The University of South Florida Polytechnic's College of Technology and Innovation (CTI) encompasses engineering, information technology and business divisions. Typically in academic institutions these divisions are independent of one another, but at USF Poly they are combined in the same college in order to enhance multidisciplinary applied learning.
As a polytechnic university, our goal is to educate students with real world knowledge, which they obtain from curriculum heavily weighted on a hands-on learning experience.
In order to continually educate students for the ever-changing career market, private industry partnerships are crucial. CTI students will work with private companies on various research and business projects. This strong link between education and industry will allow USF Poly students to obtain the most up-to-date knowledge and graduate with the exact skills industries seek.
With industry-driven research a fundamental aspect of the College of Technology and Innovation, USF Poly will become an exclusive location for cutting edge research that can be fully applied in the current market and offer expertise only found at USF Poly.
