Tuition & Fees

Deadlines

Tuition is due on the fifth day of the term. To avoid the $100 late payment fee plus possible cancellation of your registration and a corresponding $100 late registration fee, tuition must be paid in full by the fifth day of the term. Specific calendar payment deadlines are published each semester.

Tuition

Posted tuition is only an estimate and is subject to change. Tuition is assessed by course level, not student classification, and on where the course is taught, not what home campus the student may have listed.

Fee schedules for all campuses

Fees are set by the Florida legislature and interpreted by the Florida Board of Education. Eligibility for in-state fees is determined by residency classification.

Fees

The 2008 Florida Legislature authorized universities to charge distance learning fees to recover the costs of developing and delivering distance learning courses. For more information: http://www.outreach.usf.edu/catalog/index.htm The fee is $35 per credit hour fee for undergraduate courses and $50 per credit hour fee for graduate courses.

All students are charged a one-time flat fee per term for activities and services, regardless of the number of hours of enrollment or student classification. This fee is based on which campus is recorded as their home campus. For Polytechnic-coded students that fee is $5.
