SGA Services

The Student Government Association offers several free services to students at USF Polytechnic.

Spirit Center

SGA partners with Barnes & Noble to offer USF and USF Polytechnic merchandise at the campus! Merchandise can be viewed in the window display at the SGA offices. Be sure to stop by or call SGA to see if they have the sizes you need in stock. Then simply get the price of the merchandise from the display and pay the cashier for that amount. Turn in your receipt to the SGA office to pick up your USF gear.

Hours for the Spirit Center vary each semester based on the SGA officer's schedule.

Conference Room

SGA has a conference room available for student meetings in their office suite. Simply contact the SGA Secretary to schedule the room for a private study area, meetings for group projects, or student organization meetings.

Print Cards

Each fall and spring semester, SGA purchases print cards that are free to USF Polytechnic students! Why pay for your own print card, when you can get a free card with a $5 balance (one per student). Simply come to the SGA offices at the beginning of each semester and present your USF identification card to pick up your free print card. There are a limited number of cards and are handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Ellison Machine

An Ellison machine is a die-cutting machine generally used by Education majors. This machine easily cuts out letters and designs. SGA donated the machine to the USF Polytechnic library for all students to use.

Free Refreshments

SGA coordinates a variety of events for the students on campus and you can enjoy free food and drinks at each event! No time for a snack before class? Stop by an SGA event for free refreshments. Check the calendar for upcoming events.

Laminating

Students are eligible to laminate academic materials (assignments, projects, etc.) up to 2 feet each semester. Stop by the SGA office and an SGA officer will laminate the materials for you. Be sure to bring your USF identification with you!

Start up funds for student organizations

Official student organizations are eligible to submit a request for funds each academic year. These funds can be used for marketing materials, food for a campus-wide event the organization is coordinating, or T-shirts for the club. To register a student organization, see the Student Organizations website for more information.
