The co-curricular portfolio has arrived at USF! Your co-curricular portfolio is an official document that records verifiable student involvement that occurs outside of the classroom. Choose from activities, awards, and programs in a variety of categories to be included on your portfolio. If you are involved in a student organization, your involvement may be recorded on your co-curricular portfolio if you choose.
In addition, the co-curricular portfolio will track your applied learning in your academic classes. These hands-on experiences will be verified by the faculty member of that course.
The process is SIMPLE and as EASY as 1, 2, 3..
Step 1: Log on to Blackboard and click on the "Services and Resources" tab in the top right corner. Go to the Co-Curricular Portfolio module and start your portfolio.
Step 2: Select activities, awards, and programs from the list. If there is something you've been involved with you and you don't see it here then talk with the faculty or staff member who can verify your involvement and ask them to submit the award, activity or program.
Step 3: Once your record has been verified by the faculty or staff member who was responsible for the activity, award, or program you can view your co-curricular portfolio and choose which activities you want to appear on your official record. Then just request for your co-curricular portfolio to be printed!
The co-curricular portfolio program is an important part of your involvement at USF. It gives credibility to your out-of-class experience just as an academic transcript does for your coursework. You can also share your co-curricular portfolio with future employers.
