Founded in 2004, the University of South Florida Polytechnic Rath Senior ConNEXTions and Education Center's (Rath Center) mission is to provide seniors ages 50+ with education, leadership, advocacy, resources and services enabling them to age with independence and dignity. This mission is realized through a variety of educational and support program offerings. In addition, a network of providers and agency partners are housed under one roof to conveniently connect seniors to the services they need the most.

With tremendous growth since it's beginning, the Rath Center continually pursues the latest research, grants and resources available to connect the aging population to new opportunities and services. The center also serves as host to a number of organizational meetings for groups that provide housing, transportation, healthcare, social services, mental health and emergency services.
