I've been working at USF Polytechnic since
August 2005
How long I've been teaching
I began teaching in the early 1980s at Oregon State University. I adjuncted while I was a doctoral student in Philadelphia during the 1980s. I have been a full-time academic in management since gaining my Ph.D. in 1988.
What are some of the signature assignments you have given your students?
Student teams in International Management (MAN4600) develop a foreign entry strategy for a multinational company assigned to them.
The accomplishment I am most proud of is...
... directing the Environmental Policy & Management Research Center at the University of Otago, New Zealand. Also, directing the large Ph.D. program in Management at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
My favorite memory from my undergraduate experience is...
small classes and personal attention.
What I like most about the students at USF Polytechnic...
Their practical, down-to-earth attitude toward learning.
