Throughout my college experience I have always worked in some aspect of student services. At USF Polytechnic I have worked in admissions, registration and academic advising. For several years I worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I feel strongly about advocating for the rights of the disabled. That lead to a Program Coordinator position on a Projects With Industry grant in placing disabled workers. When I returned to USF Polytechnic in 2002, the new major of Information Technology had just been launched. It has been exciting to be a part of this development and watch the progression of many IT students graduating and working in the local community. The USF Polytechnic vision will only continue to strengthen and grow in success. The future is so bright I need to wear shades.
